It will encourage a reframe which will allow us to move away from the idea that aging must come with increased vulnerability. By identifying and addressing gaps, while providing opportunities for empowerment, we can take action to implement strategies which create an environment where the risks of abuse are reduced, and where seniors can lead productive, purposeful lives.
