The Planning Committee for the 2024 Elder and Dependent Adult Abuse Symposium would like to provide special recognition to the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (CalOES) for their support for this event. Funding was made possible through the United States Department of Justice, Victims of Crime Act, 2020-V2-GX-0031 and 15POV-21-GG-00613-ASSI .

InnovAge PACE is an all-inclusive healthcare program that allows seniors to live life on their terms-by aging in place, in their own homes and communities, for as long and as safely as possible. Individuals aged 55 and older receive customized healthcare and social support at a PACE Center located near their home.

The Council on Aging – Southern California has been making a difference in the community since 1973. Our first program awarded was the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program in 1976 – advocating for the rights and dignity of residents in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. We have continued to be advocates for long-term care residents for the last 46 years. Change a senior’s life and join our team, become a Long-Term Care Ombudsman.

The mission and purpose of the Foundation on Aging is to support, fund and further the programs of the Riverside County Office on Aging, and other new and innovative programs that sustain and enhance the quality of life of older adults in Riverside County. The Foundation supports its work through donations and grants. With your help, older adults who are vulnerable, at risk, and who may also be homebound, will receive support to age with dignity, respect, and independence. Your contribution will directly help seniors in need. Work with us to strengthen, expand, and support senior programs that sustain and enhance the quality of life of older adults in Riverside County.
