Program Technology drives improve ments across DPSS by equipping staff with the systems, tools and training needed to deliver accurate, timely ser vices to the community. The team supports major divisions including Ad ministrative Services, Adult Services, Children’s Services, Finance and Fore casting, and Self-Sufficiency, while also partnering closely with statewide and county agencies and technical teams. As system administrators and liaisons, the team ensures staff have access to essential platforms and resources. They collaborate with Staff Development and Self-Sufficiency Policy to create train ings, guides and tools that help em ployees navigate complex systems and provide consistent, high quality service. Their recent work included deploying up dated lobby tablets and kiosk software in partnership with Staff Development and Self-Sufficiency, improving customer experience across service sites. The team also worked with the state to secure additional EBT printers, helping reduce wait times for clients served by Self-Sufficiency and Adult Services divi sions.
Program Technology extends its support directly to offices through its Program Technology Roadshow, offering hands on guidance and resources to staff. The team will continue this effort by partici pating in Eligibility Technician Induction Training in early 2026, ensuring new employees gain the system access and knowledge they need to serve the com munity effectively.
