TSS Advances Innovation and Support to Strengthen DPSS Operations

TSS by the Numbers FY 2024/2025

5,803 Computer Hardware Requests Processed

Technology and Support Services de livered major operational gains in Fiscal Year 2024/25, accelerating technology upgrades and strengthening frontline support so staff had the tools needed to serve the community effectively. One of the year’s largest impacts came from the Windows 11 Migration Project. In partnership with RCIT, TSS upgrad ed more than 5,000 devices to improve security, performance and long term re liability. The Mobility Enhancements Proj ect further boosted connectivity for field staff by deploying hundreds of iPhone 16 devices, with more planned for 2026. TSS also led the Asset Recovery Proj ect, working with every DPSS division to recover and repurpose equipment. This

effort protected resources, maximized existing investments and increased op erational efficiency. The TSS Procurement Support Team, led by Rolando Razuri and Jose Curiel, pro vided vital guidance through the complex CalSAWS hardware procurement pro cess. Their expertise ensured full com pliance, streamlined acquisition steps and supported the purchase of essential equipment, including the Lobby Kiosk. Their work strengthened readiness and ensured staff had the tools required to meet operational demands. Together, these accomplishments re flect TSS’s commitment to innovation, efficiency and strong support for DPSS operations.
