Internal Services By the Number Fiscal Year 2024/25

Internal Services keeps the business functions of DPSS running with reliable solutions driven support that strength ens the department’s service to staff and customers. The team is the prima ry resource for contract and solicitation services, procurement of goods and ser vices, travel coordination, vehicle man agement and vital records. Their work ensures smooth operations and gives divisions the tools they need to deliver timely, accurate and effective service. Internal Services is also playing a key role in major department initiatives that shape the future of customer care. CalAIM is a statewide effort to transform Medi Cal by improving access, coordi nation and long term health outcomes. Enhanced Care Management provides intensive, hands on support for clients with complex needs, while Communi ty Supports offers flexible, community based services that help people remain stable, safe and connected. Staff are de veloping a clear, step by step guide that will help DPSS implement these efforts with consistency and confidence. With more than 30 staff across Con tract Administration, Purchasing, Vehi cle Management, the Travel Desk and Vital Records, the Internal Services unit continues to drive innovation, strengthen operations and support the people and programs that serve our communities.
