IHSS Keeps Dependent and Senior Adults Living Safely at Home Adult Services Division

Riverside County’s In-Home Supportive Services is a state program that helps older adults and people with disabilities remain safely at home by providing them with essential personal and domestic as sistance. County social workers assess clients’ needs and caregivers, identified by the clients themselves or through the IHSS Public Authority Registry, deliver in-home support that consistently costs far less than institutional placement, saving tens of thousands of dollars per person each year while enhancing com munity stability and individual well-be ing.
