QPI strengthens teamwork between so cial workers, resource families and birth parents, with a focus on reducing trauma and supporting reunification whenever possible. Riverside County held a caregiver cele bration in May 2025 to recognize those who exemplify QPI’s vision of excellent parenting through strong partnerships with children, birth families and system partners. The theme, the Three Cs of

One foster parent said they had never felt so appreciated and valued for their role. “It meant so much to be recognized and reminded that what we do matters,” they said. “QPI keeps each child’s needs, voice and well-being at the center of every decision,” Children’s Services Deputy Director Dana Young said. “We couldn’t do this without the commitment of care givers whose collaboration and commu nication are essential in the process.”
