CBT Team Brings Learning and Media to Life The Computer-Based Training team is a unit within Staff Development that brings learning to life across DPSS through eLearning, instructional design, video production, digital storytelling, Share Point development, and messaging support. The unit comprises Comput er-Based Training Officers and Media Production Specialists who collaborate to create engaging, accessible, and pur pose-driven learning materials. In FY 2024/25, the team reached more than 4,600 DPSS employees by devel oping countywide eLearning, convert ing in-person courses into online and blended formats, producing instructional videos and program spotlights, and sup porting department communications, in cluding podcasts for the Office of Health & Wellness and others.
STAFF DEVELOPMENT FISCAL YEAR 2024/25 HIGHLIGHTS
• More than 2,700 total training sessions • 1,200 classroom sessions • 1,500 virtual sessions • More than 6,000 employee trainings • 12 percent increase in completions from the prior year • 127 videos produced
• 62 trainings supported • 49 internal communications created • 14 cross-divisional collaborations • 15 percent increase in media products from the prior year
