Our Facilities teams continued to strengthen operational efficiency, cus tomer service, and support for all DPSS divisions and the communities we serve. A major milestone in Fiscal Year 2024/25 was the streamlining of the work order process at the Facilities Support Center. By the end of the fiscal year, all work or ders were being sent directly to property management teams or building owners at each facility. This direct communica tion model has significantly reduced work order turnaround times by eliminating the need for third party intermediaries and enabling faster, more accurate coordina tion with on site property managers. DPSS Facilities provides essential ser vices that ensure the efficiency, safety, comfort, and sustainability of the envi ronments where Riverside County em ployees and residents interact with our programs. Our team oversees project management for the planning, construc tion, renovation, and remodeling of 33 DPSS facilities, covering 1.2 million square feet of facilities space. Each location has

unique operational needs, and we sup port every division with services such as space planning, GIS management, and telework application management to en hance workflow and optimize available resources. Facilities across the department require ongoing attention, including furniture requests, repairs, modifications, and routine building maintenance. The safe ty and security of our buildings remain a top priority, with all related systems and equipment continuously monitored, maintained, and upgraded as needed. In addition to facility operations, DPSS Facilities provides comprehensive mate rial management services. These include print services, physical case file storage, long term archival storage, and the re ceiving and distribution of DPSS supplies. Our team also manages the transpor tation of interoffice, interdepartmental, and USPS mail, ensuring reliable and timely delivery across all locations.
