Facilities Data and Analysis Guides DPSS Space Use and Project Planning The Facilities Data and Analysis (FDA) team is shaping how DPSS uses space across Riverside County, overseeing more than 4,700 seats and the systems that track them. Led by Supervisor Jes se Vargas, the unit manages the DPSS Facility Viewer application and evaluates all facilities projects using detailed ana lytics. The team conducts site audits, vacan cy and occupancy reporting, and space allocation mapping to help programs operate efficiently. Staff also lead and support facility related projects, offering recommendations that guide long term planning and daily operations. FDA manages, supports and negotiates lease agreements and memorandums of understanding for more than 30 de partment facilities. The unit also reviews, reconciles and routes project and bud get documents, ensuring each project moves forward with accurate information and clear oversight.

Print Services ensures DPSS programs communicate clearly and consistently by producing the department’s most widely used materials. The unit manages high volume jobs, complex layouts and spe cialty finishing that support daily opera tions and public facing services. The team produces applications, infor mation packets, forms, surveys, business cards, posters, banners, flyers, pam phlets and custom graphics. Finishing services include cutting, trimming, fold ing, binding, mounting and laminating to deliver professional results. This year, the unit maintained production of monthly application packets and busi ness cards while expanding into folded
brochures, booklets, posters, thermal labels, signage, return envelopes and notepads. The team also supported ma jor initiatives by producing materials for annual reports, executive updates, SOPs, program events, mass mailings and di rectional signage. A standout project was the Administrative Services Strate gic Goals Report, which required precise color, layout accuracy and consistent quality. The unit is staffed by Gilbert Lopez, Sr. Print Technician, and Juan Vega, Print Tech Specialist II, whose technical skill and attention to detail drive the unit’s performance. Oversight and strategic direction are provided by Staci Aubert, Administrative Services Officer.
