Linkages Aims to Reduce Recurrence of Child Maltreatment and System Re-Entry

LINKAGES IS A COLLABORATIVE INITIATIVE between CalWORKs and Child Welfare to serve families who are involved with both programs. Through coordinated case management, Linkages establishes a continuum of services and supports to address poverty and promote child and family well-being. The Linkages program helps qualified families at all levels of Children’s Services intervention, to include prevention, investigation and ongoing services. The outcomes of families who received Linkages supporting services are promising.
