Damaris Martinez Marrufo, BA Supervising Development Specialist County of Riverside Housing & Workforce Solutions (HWS) Damaris Martinez Marrufo is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in housing, homeless services, and social programs. Throughout her career, she has collaborated closely with service providers, government agencies, and community organizations to improve housing stability and support services for individuals and families in need.

Damaris began her career in the nonprofit sector, where she managed programs and played a key role in permanent supportive housing, case management, and community outreach for eight years. This experience helped her develop a strong foundation in direct service delivery and community collaboration. Currently, Damaris serves as a Program Specialist for the County of Riverside’s Department of Housing and Workforce Solutions - Office of Homeless Services. In this position, she has successfully transitioned to the public sector, where she plays a critical role in program compliance, policy analysis, and interagency coordination. She ensures that housing and homeless service programs align with federal and state regulations while advocating for policies that enhance service delivery. Damaris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University, Northridge, which gives her a deep understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable populations. Her career spans both the nonprofit and public sectors, where she has successfully led multidisciplinary teams, developed program policies, and improved service accessibility.

Danielle Montero, BA in Sociology Senior Training Specialist Inland Regional Center

Danielle Montero has been with Inland Regional Center (IRC) for eight years. She served as a Consumer Service Coordinator for seven years before transitioning to her current role as a Senior Training Specialist. She specializes in Person-Centered training, equipping IRC staff with the necessary tools to support individuals with developmental disabilities and promote community inclusion.

With a strong commitment to advocacy, Danielle has collaborated with diverse teams to ensure clients receive personalized services, resources, and support to lead fulfilling lives. She has also worked closely with the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office for the Elder and Dependent Adult Abuse Prosecutor Central Division, focusing on protecting and advocating for vulnerable individuals. Danielle completed her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology of Law and Society and a Minor in Social Gerontology at California State University, Los Angeles, in 2014. She is also a POST-certified academy Instructor, having completed the Academy Instructor Certification Course in August 2024.

Driven by her passion for creating positive change within the community, Danielle is committed to fostering a compassionate, client-centered approach in all aspects of her work.
