Gina Gentiluomo U.S. Postal Inspector U.S. Postal Inspection Service
Gina Gentiluomo has over 17 years of experience in federal law enforcement. Inspector Gentiluomo spent almost 10 years with the United States Secret Service in an administrative capacity before being recruited by and becoming a Postal Inspector with the United States Postal Inspection Service (“USPIS”) in 2017. Inspector Gentiluomo began her Postal Inspector career
in the Boston Division where she worked Narcotics, COVID-19 Fraud, and Mail Fraud investigations. Having recently relocated to the Los Angeles Division, San Diego Field Office, Inspector Gentiluomo currently works Dangerous Mail and Mail Fraud investigations, the latter of which she focuses on crimes affecting those in our society who are among the most vulnerable, the elderly. Inspector Gentiluomo believes that an informed individual is an empowered individual and the more law enforcement does to educate the public about scams and how to identify them, the less likely they will be to fall victim to them. In a time when scams take all forms and are only becoming more prevalent, and harder to detect thanks to the rise of AI, Inspector Gentiluomo wants victims to know that there is no shame in having been scammed and wants every individual to report when they have been. You never know when your information might contain the missing piece law enforcement needs to solve a case.
